Edgardo Sol enjoyed a busy campaign in France before heading to Ditcheat last summer. He is the first horse that Paul Nicholls has trained for Axom and we could not have enjoyed a better start to our relationship with the Champion Trainer.

After a third-place on his first start for us, he came good at Aintree next time and things got even better a couple of weeks later when he landed a competitive hurdle race at Cheltenham. He finished second in the County Hurdle at Cheltenham in March, before romping home in the Grade 3 Red Rum 'Chase at Aintree's Grand National Meeting.
