High Secret is a seven-year-old bay gelding by High Chaparral out of Secret Question. He is in training with Paul Nicholls.
A very useful horse on the Flat for Sir Mark Prescott, High Secret returned to this sphere in May, finishing second in a competitive handicap at Goodwood before taking his owners to Royal Ascot. Lsast season, he won two novice hurdles before finishing fourth in the Grade 1 Top Novices' Hurdle at Aintree, giving his owners a fabulous day out at the Grand National Meeting. This season things haven't gone quite to plan for High Secret over hurdles, but he could step up in trip, which should help the thorough stayer on the Flat.
