Santafiora is a four-year-old bay filly by Poet's Voice out of Acquifer. She is in training with Roger Charlton.

Axom is delighted to offer 1/20th shares in Santafiora, a stunning three-year-old filly by Poet's Voice. She was an impressive winner on her first start at Bath in June 2016 and although this season hasn't quite gone to plan so far, she remains a filly with potential. Santafiora's dam, Acquifer, is from the family of dual Group 3 winner, Llyn Gwynant, the Irish St Leger winner Sans Frontieres and multiple Listed winner Kootenay.

Poet's Voice enjoyed an excellent first season as a sire and his record was further enhanced in 2016, with Poeta Diletto becoming his first Classic winner after landing the Italian 2,000 Guineas. Poet's Voice himself was a 7f winner as a juvenile and a top-class three-year-old, winning the Group 1 Queen Elizabeth II Stakes at Ascot, beating both Rip Van Winkle and Makfi in the process.

Santafiora is trained by Roger Charlton from his famous Beckhampton estate, near Marlborough in Wiltshire. Roger has trained a number of Axom winners over the years, including Star Fire, a four-time winner in 2015. Roger’s best horses include Al Kazeem, Cityscape, Time Test, Patavellian, Tante Rose, Tamarisk and Derby winner Quest For Fame.

The current value we have attributed to Santafiora is £61,500. Our current annual management fee is set at £800 per 5% share and the all-inclusive annual racing/training cost for Santafiora is set at £1,350 per 5% share.
