Shotgun Paddy is an eleven-year-old bay gelding by Brian Boru out of Awesome Miracle. He is in training with Emma Lavelle.

Axom is delighted to offer 1/19th shares in Shotgun Paddy, who has won over £100k in prize money for his Axom owners. He will be aimed at some big staying chases in the 2017/2018 season.

Shotgun Paddy was a very good novice hurdler and after an excellent season, he showed improved form when sent over the bigger obstacles, winning on his chasing debut at Chepstow in October 2015, and again at Warwick, landing the ultra-competitive Grade 3 Classic Chase. After this effort, Shotgun Paddy ran a very game race to finish second in the four-mile Listed chase at the Cheltenham Festival, where he was beaten just a neck at the finish. Since the, he has been placed in the Eider Chase (twice), the Welsh National and the Classic Chase.

Shotgun Paddy is trained by Emma Lavelle, who has achieved a huge amount of success with Axom-owned horses, including the Graded winner Bouggler and Ouzbeck, who won the Listed Summer National at Uttoxeter in 2010. Emma's stable visits are always popular and she now trains from the famous Bonita Stables near Marlborough in Wiltshire.

Shares in Shotgun Paddy are being offered for sale on behalf of existing owners. The asking prices for the capital value element of each share has been set by each individual owner.
