Axom Racehorse Syndicates was
established in 1997 with the aim of offering a first-class ownership
experience to small
numbers of like-minded individuals. Ten years later, Axom is firmly established
as one of Britain’s most successful syndicate businesses and its
philosophy of exemplary customer service and value for money have ensured
that the experience, both on and off the racecourse, is truly unforgettable.
Axom’s most successful horse to date is Deano’s Beeno, who
was a major force in the country’s top staying hurdle races for many
years and accumulated over £250,000 in prize money with wins over
hurdles and fences as well as on the flat. This enigmatic character gave
his owners such wonderful memories and he is now enjoying a happy retirement
at Greatwood Home for Retired Racehorses.
Other memorable horses have included Diligence, who won a Goodwood maiden
before finishing fourth in the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot. Axom was re-launched
in the summer of 2006 and the smart two-year-old Opera Crown, trained by
Paul Cole at Whatcombe, became the first horse since Deano’s Beeno
to carry the Axom colours. |
