In April 2022, Fidux finished a game fourth in the Scottish Grand National and his tough attitude means that he nearly always gives his owners a great thrill when he races. Fidux prefers the top of the ground and so tends to be most competitive in the spring, summer and autumn. He won well at Newbury in March 2024, and continues to run incredibly consistently at the age of 11.
